Privacy Policy

We collect the following categories of data when you use FormCheck+:

• Account data: Your name and email address, provided at registration.
• Workout logs: Exercise names, sets, reps, weights, duration, and notes you enter manually.
• Cardio logs: Activity type, duration, intensity, distance, and calories you log.
• Body metrics: Body weight entries, body measurements (waist, chest, hips, etc.), and the dates they were recorded.
• Progress photos: Photos you voluntarily upload for progress tracking.
• Form analysis videos: Video clips you upload for AI-powered form analysis.
• Personal records: Exercise PRs you log manually.
• Goals & preferences: Fitness goals, workout schedule preferences, and app settings.
• Usage data: In-app analytics events (e.g., button clicks) that help us improve the product. No personally identifiable data is attached to these events.

Data is collected in the following ways:

• Directly from you — when you manually enter workout data, body metrics, goals, or upload photos and videos.
• Automatically — anonymised usage analytics events are captured when you interact with the app.
• On explicit action — video frames and photos are only extracted and sent to AI services when you actively request an analysis.

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the FormCheck+ service:

• Displaying your workout history, progress charts, and statistics within the app.
• Generating AI-powered form feedback by sending video frames to our AI provider (only when you request an analysis).
• Generating AI voice coaching summaries by sending anonymised workout metrics to our AI provider (only when you tap the voice-coaching button).
• Sending weekly reminder emails if you opt in to workout schedule notifications.
• Improving app performance and features using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.

We will never sell your data or use it for advertising.

We will always ask for your explicit permission before transmitting any of your personal data to a third-party AI service. You must actively consent — no data is shared silently or automatically.

All third parties we share data with are contractually required to protect your data to the same or greater standard as this policy:

• Base44 Platform — hosts your data with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. See base44.com/privacy for full details.
• OpenAI / Google (via Base44 AI) — data sent for AI processing is governed by Base44's data processing agreement with these providers, which prohibits training on your personal data.
• Resend (email) — used solely for transactional email delivery. Resend is GDPR-compliant and does not use your email for any other purpose.

All your data is stored securely on Base44's encrypted cloud infrastructure. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account. Data is permanently removed within 30 days of deletion.

You have the right to:

• Access a copy of your personal data.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Withdraw consent for AI features at any time (simply do not use those features).
• Opt out of email notifications at any time from Settings.

FormCheck+ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
